Top Ten Tuesday - Series I Am Planning to Continue

It's Tuesday, so I am once again linking with That Artsy Reader Girl who hosts Top Ten Tuesday. You can click on the link to her blog to view her list and the lists from other bloggers participating in this blog hop. Different bloggers often have their own unique take on the suggested topic.

Today I am listing five cozy mystery book series that I've already started reading and would like to continue reading and five Hallmark cozy mystery series I'd like to watch. Along with being an avid cozy mystery reader, I also watch a lot of Hallmark movies!

First, the books. The pictures show the next book I'll be reading in the series, not the first as I usually show. If you click on the link above each description, it will take you to my review of the book in the series that I last reviewed.

Evenfall Witches B&B Mysteries, by Auralee Wallace
This is the second book in the series. It takes place in the spring, so I am saving it for April.

This is the third book in the series. I loved the first two and I won a copy of the third one.

I am anxiously awaiting this third one in the series, set to be released early next year. I already pre-ordered it. I loved the first two in the series!

This is number 17 in the series. The link takes you to my review of number 15. I'm planning to post my review of 16 next Monday. I had planned on reading number 17 this month, but after reading the description I realized it takes place in the summer. That's a bit of a relief because I'm so backlogged with books set in the fall that I want to read this year. So I'll probably read this one next summer.

Since this second in the series takes place around Christmas, I'll read it in December.

There are more series that I want to continue reading and MANY more that I want to start. The list is endless!

And now for the Hallmark mystery series. I have already seen Murder, She Baked, Crossword Mysteries (I need to watch these again and review them), and Aurora Teagarden Mysteries. Here is the list of series I want to watch.
  • Chronicle Mysteries, featuring an amateur sleuth who is a podcaster.
  • Garage Sale Mysteries, featuring an amateur sleuth who is a seasoned bargain hunter.
  • Mystery 101, featuring an amateur sleuth who is a professor specializing in mystery books
  • Picture Perfect Mysteries, featuring an amateur sleuth who is a wedding photographer
  • Signed, Sealed, Delivered, featuring postal workers who work to track down people who never received mail that was sent to them.
Of all the movie series listed, the one I am most excited about is Signed, Sealed, Delivered. I like the premise of it. Not all mysteries have to be about murder. I watched the first one, but I have not seen any of the other ones on this list.

I have some work to do!!!

  5. For some reason I have never read a cozy mystery even though I have been meaning to for ages... Their clever titles always catch my eye (I love a good pun, like really!)...
I am going to look for inspiration here for my first cozy read :)
