Happy Friday, friends!
Today I'm participating in five blog hops. The host for Friday 56 is taking a break, but this blog hop will now be hosted by My Head is Full of Books. You can click on the host links below to read the blogs of others who are participating in each blog hop. If you're a blogger, feel free to join through their links!
Question: Do you consider yourself a bookworm or a reader?
My response: Now this is one question I had never considered before. I think I'm more of a bookworm because I don't just read books. I buy them, borrow them from the library, research new ones, talk about them, and write about them.
Today's excerpts are from the paperback format of A Fang to Remember (Vampire Pet Boutique Mystery 1), by Elle Wren Burke.
"Miss Wixx, do you have this sweater in the same neon orange as the leash? I just love orange. Or maybe one could be specially made?"
And here's a teaser from page 56:
"It was so weird. Oliver is usually one of our best customers. I always give him and Eamon a tad more blood in their goblets."
Although I have a signed paperback copy, I just finished listening to the audiobook for this paranormal cozy mystery. I will post a review soon, so stay tuned!
This is Bell snuggled up on my lap watching a Hallmark movie with me.
Those teasers are fun. Sounds like an enjoyable book.
ReplyDeleteMark, I don't think it's a world I'd feel comfortable living in, but it sure is fun to read about! :-)
Delete"A tad bit more blood in the goblet." Good one. Very funny. I hope the book continues to delight.
ReplyDeleteThanks for helping to keep Friday56 going while we wait to see if Freda returns to us!
Thank you, Anne! :)
DeleteI'd never really considered what the difference between a bookworm and a reader might be, but I think I'm also more of a bookworm. Belle sure is pretty! Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kym! :-)
