Question: Do you visit and share books in Little Free Libraries in your area?
My response: There are two Little Free Libraries in my area that I know of. I visited and contributed to one of them a while ago, but I think it's time to donate more books. I know I have several I can donate to both Little Free Libraries.
Today's excerpts are from the Kindle format of Detective Aunty (Kausar Khan Investigates 1), by Uzma Jalaluddin.
The second worst phone call of Kausar Khan's life came in the middle of an ordinary morning, knocking her world into a new direction entirely.
And here is an excerpt from 56%:
Another door led to the basement, and acting on impulse, she ducked down the stairs. On the landing, a hand pulled her to the side, and she yelped in fright.
I really enjoyed this cozy mystery. I'm aiming to have my review published next week, so I hope you'll stop by again and find out why I enjoyed it.
Fiona is wishing everyone a Happy National Relaxation Day and she's demonstrating how to get the most from this special occasion.
I saw this beauty when I went to an appointment earlier this week. The other side of the wings not in view is a brilliant blue color. Apologies for the lack of sharpness. I was trying to take the picture quickly before it flew away.
Detective Aunty sounds really good. I never heard of it before. I'll look for it. Fiona looks very comfortable. Kitties do love their sun spots.
ReplyDeleteThey sure do, Yvonne! I believe cozy mystery fans will enjoy Detective Aunty. :)
DeleteThe book sounds interesting.
ReplyDeleteFiona, you are excellent at modeling relaxation, thank you for linking up with Feline Friday.
The butterfly is quite beautiful.
Fiona thanks you! :)
DeleteFiona is enjoying her sun. I put the butterfly photo into Google lens and it is a Red Spotted Purple which is a brilliant blue on the upper side.
ReplyDeleteYep, that's the butterfly! We have a lot of them around here, but they're usually on-the-go and difficult to photograph. :)
