June is National Audiobook Month, so I'm participating in the audiobook challenge hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer and That's What I'm Talking About. I'll be doing the Love Your Library option. On this page, I'll list all of the audiobooks I've borrowed from the library and listened to in June. The goal is to listen to at least three audiobooks.
⭐⭐⭐⭐
1. I listened to Take the Honey and Run (Bee Keeping Mystery 1), written by Jennie Marts and narrated by Cris Dukehart. I enjoyed the mystery and, for the most part, the characters. I wasn't a fan of the mild language, so I don't think I'll be in a hurry to continue the series unless I find out those kinds of words have been eliminated.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
2. I listened to Dead, White, and Blue (Northwoods Mystery 2), written by Annie McEwen and narrated by Patricia Burgos. I loved it and am looking forward to listening to the next one in the series in the winter! It has everything I love in a cozy - community, family (including fur family), friends, and of course a well-crafted mystery.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
3. I listened to Fourth of July Forgery (Holiday Cozy Mystery 6), written by Tonya Kappes and narrated by Christina Sagnimeni. I loved it! I've been enjoying this series since book 1 (it was the book that made me a fan of Tonya Kappens). I like listening to them when each of the holidays in the books comes around.
I listened to all of these on the Hoopla app through my local library. Challenge complete on 6/27.
I enjoy Cozy Mysteries as well, and am not familiar with the Northwoods Mystery. I will have to check them out. My library should have them on Hoopla.
ReplyDeleteIt's a great series for cozy mystery fans and the audiobook narration is outstanding! :)
