Cozy Mysteries On My Fall 2022 To-Read List

Fall is just a few days away. Yippee!!! I love that today's top ten list is all about fall reading. Mine is specific to cozy mysteries I want to read this fall. This blog hop is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Head on over there to participate and/or read the lists by other bloggers.

"A Doomful of Sugar" (A Maple Syrup Mystery Book 1), by Catherine Bruns
This one is completely new to me. In fact, it has not yet been released. It is due out in late October. It caught my attention because the theme is maple syrup - one of my favorite foods on the planet!

"A Hint of Mischief" (A Fairy Garden Mystery Book 3), by Daryl Wood Gerber
I love this series so far. I have read the first two and can't wait to read this latest installment. It's the series that made me a believer in fairies. This is one of the few series I am collecting.

"A Sticky Inheritance" (A Maple Syrup Mystery Book 1), by Emily James
Yep! Another series revolving around maple syrup! This series already has many books. I have read the prequel and can't wait to really dive into the series.

"Color Me Murder" (Pen and Ink Book 1)
Every time I start reading this book, I find a different book that I must read in a certain time frame (due to book clubs). I'm determined to read it this fall. I love that you can color the cover of each book in the series. It takes place in the Washington, D.C./Northern VA area, which is close to home for me.

"Death on the Nile" (Hercule Poirot Book 16), by Agatha Christie
I normally don't read books in series out of order, but in this case I don't think it matters. I recently watched the 2022 movie version and I am looking forward to reading the book.

"Death Overdue" (A Haunted Library Mystery Book 1), by Allison Brook
I have to have at least one Halloween-themed book on this list! This seems like a fun series.

"Escape Claws" (A Cat Lady Mystery Book 1), by Linda Reilly
I don't know why it has taken me so long to get started with this series. I am such a cat person! I have read the Grilled Cheese Mysteries by Linda Reilly and I really enjoyed them, so I'm looking forward to reading something different written by her.

"High Strung" (A Glass Bead Mystery Book 1), by Janice Peacock
I chose this one for the craft theme in a Goodreads challenge. It seems fitting since my best friend, Stephanie, and I used to do beading as a hobby.

"Put Out to Pasture" (A Farm to Table Mystery Book 2), by Amanda Flower
I read the first book in this series, "Farm to Trouble", and I really loved it. Her writing just flows so well. I have been waiting until fall to read the second book in the series even though it was released earlier this year.

"Red Velvet Cupcake Murder" (A Hannah Swensen Mystery Book 16), by Joanne Fluke
If you've been following my blog, you'll know I'm a huge fan of this series and that it's close to my heart. I'm looking forward to reading this 16th installment.

What are your thoughts on these books? Have you read any of them? Would you like to read them?Which covers do you like best? Tell me in the comments below!
