Top Ten Tuesday - New-to-Me Authors I Discovered in 2022

Happy Top Ten Tuesday! This blog hop is brought to us by That Artsy Reader Girl. On her blog you will see links to the blogs of others who are participating in Top Ten Tuesday.

Today's topic is New-to-Me Authors I Discovered in 2022. I love this week's topic because it focuses on the force behind the these wonderful books. Without the authors, we wouldn't have the books!

Since I only recently became an avid reader, nearly every author I read in 2022 was new to me. Here are a few of my favorites listed alphabetically by last name and linked to a review for one of their books I read last year.

*Agatha Christie
*Becky Clark
*Mary Higgins Clark

*I first discovered these authors with a (*) next to their name before I started blogging, so I don't have reviews for them at this time. Also, Mary Higgins Clark is the only non-cozy mystery author on this list.

Have you read any books by these authors?

    1. The one novel of hers that I read is very different than her mysteries. I read Mount Vernon Love Story. It was really good. :-)

  2. Great list! I was a huge MHC fan as a teen and young adult. I also really like Amanda Flower and some of Christie's. Reilly is one I definitely want to read this year, but I'm having trouble finding UP TO NO GOUDA at my library. I might have to buy it. Glad you found so many great new-to-you authors in 2022.

    Happy TTT!

    1. Susan, I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble finding Up to No Gouda at your library. That is one of the few books I purchased for my own personal library. The entire series is really good, plus they all include grilled cheese recipes. :-)

  3. The only one i've read is Agatha Christie. Mysteries are not always my favorites.

  8. What a list! I've read most of them, but I want to re-read Agatha Christie. It's been way too many years since I read one. I love Mary Higgins Clark's books.
