Sunday Post 3

Hi everyone!

I took a much needed long break from blogging, but I am happy to be back! I am looking forward to catching up with all of you.

Today I am linking with Reading Reality, who hosts Stacking the Shelves and The Book Date, who hosts It's Monday! What are you reading?

I recently finished reading Death on the Nile, by Agatha Christie. It is on my list to post a review in the next few weeks.

I also read Death Overdue (Haunted Library Mystery 1), by Allison Brook. This is a five star cozy mystery in my book! I will be posting my review tomorrow (Monday), so I hope you'll come back and read it.

For nonfiction, I finished reading Limitless: Upgrade Your Brain, Learn Anything Faster, and Unlock Your Exceptional Life, by Jim Kwik. I gave it four stars on Goodreads. It is filled with interesting insights and useful tips. The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars is because it was information overload. I found it overwhelming and by the end of the book I was at a loss for where to begin. There is a 10-day guide at the end, which is helpful, but there were still more tips I would love to work on that were not included in that guide. If I could spend six months on this book I think it would be very beneficial to me. However, there are so many books on my TBR list that I choose not to spend that much time on one book.

This week I am reading In the Company of Witches (Evenfall Witches B&B 1), by Auralee Wallace. I borrowed it from the library yesterday. So far I am really loving this one. It's very heavy on both the cozy and mystery factors, which is exactly how I like my cozy mystery reads to be. I am planning to finish it in time to post my review on Halloween.

I am also participating in another blog hop this week - Sunday Post, hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer. With this blog hop, I'll recap what I've posted over the past few weeks. If you missed a post you want to read, just click on the link below.
  • Sunday Post 10/02 What I'm Reading and a recap of the previous week's post
  • Mystery Monday 10/03 - A review of "A Plum Pudding Mystery" (Hallmark movie)
Thanks for reading. Have a great week and I'll see you in the blogosphere!

    1. Thanks so much, Greg! The book is even better than the 2022 movie. I recommend reading the book. :-)
