Question: Do you use other sources for ARCs besides NetGalley?

My response: I have never read an ARC (Advance Reader Copy). Right now that would be too much pressure for me. Perhaps in the future I will consider it.

FRIENDLY FILL-INS, hosted by Four-Legged Furballs and 15 and Meowing. 
1. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that my local library supports disability representation.

2. However, I am disappointed with the way disability is often misrepresented in books, movies, and television.

3. I smile when I hear my cats purring.

4. I didn't believe my cats (especially Fiona) could jump from the dresser onto the bed and have a clean landing until I saw it for myself.

This is Fiona (who is clearly related to Tom from Tom and Jerry) saying, "You have got to be kidding if you think you're going to take this Snuggie away from me." Can you see the little pieces of fur on the tip of her ear? You can't see the other ear, but both have this. 😺

    It can amaze me how far and well some cats can jump.

      Thank you. Fiona was behind Bell in her jumping skills, but they've now both mastered it. Which means I have to be even more on my toes. :-)

    You have way more self-control than I do. The ARCs are definitely pressure, until you decide it just doesn't matter if you read them on time, and then you just keep requesting even when you know you can't keep up. Tis a vicious circle.

    I love fur tips on cats ears. Flynn had them but not Eric.

      I don't recall ever having a cat with fur tips. Bell does not have them, at least not as prominently as Fiona does. :-)

    I never requested ARCs from publishers nor do I really want to. On occasion I find ARCs at used book sales. I been feeling like the black sheep from what everyone else has said. I'm with with ARCs being too much pressure to read.
