Happy Felines and Fill-ins Friday!

Question: Do you listen to audiobooks with earbuds or headphones?
My response: I use neither because, except for the cats, I'm always alone when I listen to audiobooks. I don't think they mind listening with me. :-)

1. Be sure to change your clocks forward this weekend if you're in an area that does this because you'll be running late if you don't.
2. I would never give a pet as a surprise gift to anyone. There's too much responsibility involved with caring for a pet to give it to someone who is not prepared for this.
3. I got a clean bill of health from the dentist yesterday.😁
4. Just because I am retired (on disability) doesn't mean I have all the time in the world to do whatever I want. (This is a frustrating misconception some people have of my life.)
See that gray and white piece of fuzz under Bell's head? That's her beloved Mousey. This is her favorite toy. If I want to get her out of a room for whatever reason, all I have to do is rattle this mouse and she comes flying. She will not do that for any other toy that makes noise (unless it's another one identical to this one). She also likes to play fetch with it. She often brings it to me and that's my cue to throw it so she can chase it and bring it back to me again. I never had a cat who played fetch. Until now. Fiona is allowed to play with it, but only when supervised by Bell. Bell's rule, not mine.

DeleteI don't listen to audiobooks all that often either. However, when I do, I usually listen to them while I'm driving or just before bed without earbuds or headphones. Every once in a while, I'll be in my library and I may use earbuds then but I usually just use my bluetooth speaker.

DeleteI've changed the clocks already on Saturday afternoon, and i'll go to bed based on the changed clocks. Sometimes it helps me adjust better.
