Question: Do you post Happy Publication Day posts for books you read?
My response: Not on my blog. Sometimes I re-share the author's Instagram Pub Day posts in my IG stories.
Today's excerpts are from an eARC of DM Me for Murder (Trending Topic Mystery 3), by Sarah E. Burr.
“Wow, nice digs.” An impressed whistle zipped across my lips as I climbed out of the passenger’s side of the sleek Mercedes sedan.
And here is an excerpt from 56%:
"Can you imagine us being on a date?" Jasper snorted.
I visibly convulsed. "Ugh, no! Why would you even say that? Especially before I've eaten." Jasper was the brother I'd never had.
"To get that reaction." He smirked as he placed a golden cloth napkin across his lap.
I rolled my eyes at his immaturity.
"And to put what I'm about to say into perspective."
In the excerpt from 56%, Coco, the main character, is having dinner with her best friend, Jasper. The conversation is leading up to something Jasper needs to tell Coco. But the main reason I shared this excerpt is because Jasper is my favorite character in this series. Every time he opens his mouth on the page I either smile or laugh out loud. He has a larger-than-life personality, but he also really cares about Coco.
DM Me for Murder releases this coming Tuesday, February 13th. Stay tuned for my review!
Here is Bell lounging in one of their boxes. They sure do love to snuggle up with paper. That's what the boxes are filled with. They love to sleep in them.
Jasper does sound like quite the character! And Bell is adorable. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kym! :)
DeleteSounds like an amusing book. I will have to add it to my Goodreads want to read list!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!

DeleteI am feeling the cat love right now. I am helping babysit two grandcats for a few weeks.
ReplyDeleteThat's wonderful, Anne! Enjoy your time with them! :)
DeleteA box and paper, Bell couldn't ask for more!
ReplyDeleteYep! They sure do appreciate the simple things in life. :)
DeleteBell is so cute. The kitties sure do love paper and boxes. They love them more than any gifts you can buy them at the store. I really have to read the Sarah Burr series. It sounds great. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo true about kitty gifts, Yvonne. Sarah E. Burr is an auto-read for me. I still have some catching up to do on one of her series, but for all the others, I read them all when they're released. Her books never disappoint. :-)
DeleteDM me for Murder sounds like a fun read! I want to get to know Jasper too! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Jasper is such a fun character. :-)
DeleteI think I like Jasper.
ReplyDeleteBell, I'm glad you like your box with the crinkly paper in it. I know it's fun. Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday!
