Murder, She Baked: A Peach Cobbler Mystery (2016)

 πŸ„πŸ„πŸ„πŸ„πŸ„

A Peach Cobbler Mystery is the third movie in the "Murder, She Baked" series. It is based on the book Peach Cobbler Murder, by Joanne Fluke, which is the seventh installment in the series. It takes place within a few days of Valentine's Day, although the scenery looks a lot like fall. While this movie has the same cozy mystery vibe as the first two and a similar formula, there are some differences.

In A Peach Cobbler Mystery, Hannah Swensen (again played by the lovely and talented Alison Sweeney), our baker turned amateur sleuth, once again finds herself in the midst of a murder investigation. This time, Hannah uses her baking knowledge to figure out an important detail, which may help solve this mystery. Why is she so invested in this case and who would commit yet another heinous crime in such a quaint little town?

This is another delightful installment in my favorite Hallmark mystery series. The mystery is a bit more complex than in the previous two. We have several viable suspects, clues, and red herrings to sift through. Although it is a murder investigation, it has the same light and airy vibe as the previous two movies in the series.

I absolutely love the the ending of this movie.  It truly warmed by heart, as did the entire film. If you're looking for a good cozy mystery movie that takes place around Valentine's Day, I highly recommend Murder, She Baked: A Peach Cobbler Mystery. To really take in the atmosphere, I recommend having something in the oven (a peach cobbler maybe) baking while you watch it.

Keep in mind that these movies are different than the books they are based on. However, they can each still be enjoyed if you accept them simply as different forms of entertainment.

Have you seen this movie or do you think it is something you might be interested in watching?
