Sunday Post 29

Hi everyone!

How's everyone doing? I had a pretty slow week with reading, but I'm going to try to get back on track this week. The highlight of the week was yesterday when I went to the local farm to visit their baby goats. It's an annual tradition, but for the first time yesterday I got to hold one of the baby goats. She's three weeks old and so sweet. They have a lot of baby goats there and it's always fun to watch their antics. Baby goats do seem to enjoy life to the fullest! In another area, we were able to spend some time with a few adult goats as well.

There's also a Fairy Forest in the back of the farm that I like to visit, me being a fan of fairies and all. I may go back to the farm in the fall, but at the very least, I'll definitely visit again next spring when they have more baby goats.

Today I am once again linking with Reading Reality, who hosts Stacking the Shelves, and The Book Date, who hosts It's Monday! What Are You Reading?  The latter is posted on Mondays, so be sure to check the link then.  On these blogs you will be able to see links to the posts from others who are participating in these blog hops, and if you're a blogger, you can join too.

RECENTLY FINISHED
πŸ„πŸ„πŸ„πŸ„
I finished listening to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, by J.K. Rowling and narrated by Jim Dale. I really enjoyed the narration. I enjoyed the story itself, too, but I was confused at times. That tends to happen with me more so with audiobooks than with e-books or print books. I'm going to take a break from Harry Potter for a while, but I fully intend on listening to the rest of the series on audiobook later this year.
IN PROGRESS
I was hoping to have finished this book by now, I am still reading Checked Out for Murder (Haunted Library Mystery 4), by Allison Brook. I'm a little more than halfway done and I should be able to finish it in the next few days. If you want a small glimpse into this book, click here.
UP NEXT
When the Crow's Away
(Evenfall Witches B&B Mystery 2), by Auralee Wallace is one of my most highly anticipated books to read this year. The first one in this series, In the Company of Witches, was one of my favorite books that I read last year. The second one takes place in the spring and I've been waiting until now to read it. To read my review of
In the Company of Witches, click here.

I am also participating in Sunday Post, hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer. With this blog hop, I'll recap what I've recently posted. If you missed a post you want to read (or if you want to read it again!), just click on the link below.
Last week I started watching season 3 of The Mandalorian and I'm planning to watch the last episode later today. Season 3 has been okay, but I liked the first two seasons a lot more.

I've also been catching up on Hallmark's Spring Into Love premieres. I have two more two watch, which I will do this week. This week, I also want to catch up on their latest Mahagony movies.

I re-watched the last Hannah Swensen (formerly called Murder, She Baked) movie that has aired so far and I'll be posting a review of that one this week in anticipation of the new one that will air later this month. Have I mentioned this is my favorite mystery series?!

Let me know in the comments what's going on in your world!

  3. I'm hoping the new Hannah Swensen movie is good. The changes in the last one were jarring, and I felt like Michelle was off as a character. I'll be curious to see what they do with the new one.

    1. Mark, I agree about Michelle. I wish Andrea and her husband hadn't moved out of state. I really liked them a lot! :)
